Intelligent. Trusted. Experienced. Dependable.

More ideas from the Less-is-More files: A series of four mini billboards for Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning quickly communicate the competitive advantages of the company with one-word headlines. The panels are big and bright so they can be easily read from cars on the street. Whether you read the secondary copy or not, the big idea is already intertwined with the company name and logo, and hopefully stuck in your head. Click the image for a larger view.

Web Banner Ads in Pink and Gold

Here’s something a little different from DBDA: a series of web banner ads for the 2011 Seattle Erotic Ball. The campaign we designed included posters, postcards, and print and web advertising was full of loud colors, grungy textures and gothic type. As you can see, we’re fully adept at many different design styles and aesthetics.

Claus and Paws are on the Case!

Here’s a fun poster we just did for the Pearl District’s Claus and Paws holiday benefit event for Dove Lewis. If you have a dog or cat, or even something more exotic please bring your little friend down to Lexidog Pearl on Sunday, December 5th from 11AM to 3PM and have their picture taken with Santa Claus.

Yes, that’s where the name came from. Did you think that it was the exciting story of a cranky cat who drinks too much and a seemingly dim-witted, but actually quite intelligent dog who work as extra Christmas help in the Pearl District, but then crack unsolvable crimes at night. That would be a great show … Anybody?

Imagine the Future Campaign

2010 Laurelhurst Auction BannerDBD+A designed all of the marketing and promotional campaign components for the Laurelhurst School Auction + Party, including posters, banners, t-shirts, buttons and the official website. The various pieces were very bright and cheerful, and really caught your eye when walking around the school! The beautiful t-shirt screen printing was donated by Ivy Studio. Click the thumbnails for larger versions.

Small Ads with Big Punch

Not all advertising has to be full-page to make an impact. Take for example these two quarter-page and sixth-page ads for Wilfs restaurant that make some noise with breaking the advertising budget. They’re small, but still have plenty of impact. Contact us today to help you with your advertising plans, big and small.

Holidays in the Pearl, Part Deux

PDBA Holiday Pearl Pass

It’s almost that time of year again. Time to deck your halls with Holiday advertising and marketing materials. Here’s two of the items we designed for the Pearl District’s 2nd Annual Holidays in the Pearl. We enjoyed putting together this branding for the event that is both bright and modern, and a little bit retro! Be on the lookout for posters, ads and more as the event gets under way. And make sure you pick up your Pearl Pass–it’s your card for special holiday savings at more than 75 Pearl District businesses.

Local ads. All organic. All sustainable.

Here are some recent ads that DBDA has created for Wilfs Restaurant for Edible Portland, Explore the Pearl and Portland Monthly. All of the ads focus on a similar theme of organic, sustainable fare with live Jazz entertainment that is also both organic and sustainable.
